Hello Everyone!

My name is Alexandra Velazquez and I am a current sophomore here at Penn State. I am a Public Relations major with a minor in Sociology. I am from Bensalem, PA which is about 15 minutes from Center City, Philadelphia.

With having a strong interest in sociology, I’m pretty interested in anything that has to do with people and the way they think and effect things. With that being said, I’m really excited to be taking a course about the environment and I’m most excited to learn about human interaction in relation to the environment and the effects we have on our world around us. Also, I’m probably going to be most interested in the ethics component of all of these things especially after reading module one and going into module two. I think ethics are a really interesting thing to talk about because many people have vastly different ethical ideologies especially when it comes to the environment.
